What Does a Band Booster Do?

The mission of the Union Pines Band Boosters is to continually support the students, directors and families of the Union Pines High School Marching Vikings Band in their goal to achieve the highest standards of music education and music performance; facilitate the musical enrichment of the student membership of Union Pines High School and its feeder schools; promote the place and value of music in our community and the significant role music plays in the cultural, intellectual, and social lives of our children; and foster fellowship and goodwill among its members and provide its membership with opportunities for personal growth and leadership.

Why be a Band Booster?

Though we don't charge fees to be a Band Booster, we do participate in fund raisers to generate extra funds for band programs, supplies, and equipment not provided for in the County School budget. To assist the Band with any and all tasks required to execute their field performances be it a home football game, band competition, fund raising event, local community parade, or any other event that the band may be participating in. Most importantly; to be there for our children and support them as they grow, mature, and excel in life, and to let them know just how proud they make us!

How to become a Band Booster:

Join Us at the Next Booster Meeting! All band parents are encouraged to attend.
It's good for the Band, good for our kids, and a lot of fun! Hope to see you there.

Band Boosters meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Band Room at Union Pines High School. Come to the meetings to find out all that is going on within the world of the Marching Vikings!
